Workshop overview

Singing engages the body, mind, spirit and voice and above all, can just make you feel happy. In this singing workshop we will lay the foundations of a healthy and reliable vocal technique and sing as a group in a wide range of styles. Relaxation, posture, breathing and warm ups, both physical and vocal, will be a part of each session. This will lead us into exploring songs and harmonies from different genres including world, jazz, close harmony, folk and maybe a French chanson!

It is very private with neighboring houses quite a distance away. The main floor includes an entry hall, well-equipped kitchen, lounge, dining room, and  two bedrooms with double beds, one bedroom with single bed, one bathroom and one WC . There are two additional bedrooms with double beds on the mezzanine with double sofa bed, sleeping 10-11 comfortably. The property is entirely enclosed and planted with lavender, rosemary, fig trees and olive trees, and a large swimming pool (with a security alarm) and children’s play area with slide, swings, sandbox, and chalet. Enjoying Crepes on "Chandeleur"!

The French holiday, Chandeleur, is today February 2nd. Originally a feast to commemorate the purification of the Virgin Mary and the presentation of baby Jesus. this holiday is also known as the "jour des crêpes". The French serve crêpes on Chandeleur. It is traditional in France to hold a coin in one hand and a crêpe pan in the other, and flip the crêpe into the air. If you catch the crêpe in the pan, you will be prosperous for the year.
